Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to digital guides, ebooks, downloads, templates and related products sold by Simon From Scotland (“we”, “us” or “our”), including Work From Anywhere. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
If you have any questions, please contact us at simonfoxhouse@gmail.com.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- your name and email address when you complete a purchase;
- order and transaction details, such as the product purchased, order number, date and amount, which are processed through JVZoo;
- any messages you send us, including support and refund requests; and
- basic, non-identifying information about how visitors use our sales pages.
We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled securely by JVZoo and its payment processors.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- deliver your digital product and any included bonus materials;
- send order confirmations, access details and important product updates;
- respond to support requests, questions and complaints;
- process refunds and keep accurate business and tax records;
- improve our products, pages and communications; and
- meet our legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on: contract (to supply what you bought); legitimate interests (to run, protect and improve our business and to send relevant updates to customers); legal obligation (for example, record keeping); and consent where we specifically ask for it.
5. Email Communications
After a purchase, we may email you about your order, product updates and, occasionally, related products we think may be useful. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by emailing us. Opting out of marketing will not stop essential messages about a purchase you have made.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
- with JVZoo and its payment processors, to process and record your purchase;
- with trusted service providers we use to deliver products or send email, who may only use the information to provide that service;
- where required by law or a valid legal request; and
- where needed to protect our rights, our customers or others.
7. Cookies and Tracking
Our sales pages may use basic cookies or similar technologies to keep the page working and to understand, in general terms, how visitors use it. JVZoo may also use cookies during checkout and for affiliate tracking. Please refer to JVZoo’s own privacy policy for details of how it handles information. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
8. International Transfers
Some of the services we and JVZoo use may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on those providers to apply appropriate safeguards required by law.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide access to your purchase, deal with support and refund requests, and meet legal, accounting or tax requirements. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
10. Keeping Information Secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to request a copy of your data and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email simonfoxhouse@gmail.com.
If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we have handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
12. Children’s Privacy
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.
13. Third-Party Websites
Our products and pages may link to third-party websites, platforms and tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies before sharing information with them.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
